Unfortunately, the pandemic soon changed that! Its impact affected everyone, and we were no exception. Our costs soared and our income fell. It was a tough year. However, we continued our work in helping all those affected by pulmonary fibrosis. This was due in no small part, to the excellent help we received from EBS. Despite the difficulties of staff working from home, they maintained their support in managing our administration, dealing with all queries as efficiently as before. In the second half of the year, we undertook a media project aimed to raise our profile and reach out to more patients. This culminated in a survey launched in December. It was a great success and we managed to raise a lot of media interest. It included articles in national and local newspapers, local TV and radio stations. Our holiday home in Great Yarmouth again proved to be very popular, but unfortunately, the site was closed for a long time due to the covid restrictions. During the year, our ambassador team grew, and I would like to record my grateful thanks to all our volunteers. Their help is essential for us to continue our work. Until the pandemic is fully under control, we will continue to have challenges in the months ahead. But we are in a great position to carry on and are fully committed to do what we can to help all PF sufferers.
