Compony) for the yeor 1 April 2024 to 31 Morch 2025. The Annuol Report serves the purposes of both o Trustees, report
and o directors, report under compony low. The Trustees confirm thot the Annuol Report ond financial statements of
the charitable company comply with the current statutory requirements. the requirements of the charitable company's
governing document and the provisions of the Stotement of Recommended Proctice (SORP) applicoble to chorities
preporing their accounts in occordonce with the Finonciol Reporting Stondord opplicoble in the UK ond Republic of
Ireland (FRS102) (effective 1 January 2019).
Since the Charity qualifies as small under section 382 of the Companies Act 2006. the Strategic Report required of
medium ond large componies under the Componies Act 2006 (Strotegic Report ond Directors, Report) Regulations 2013
hos been omitted.

New Trustees undergo an induction session to brief them on their legol obligotions under chority and compony low. the
content of the Nemorondum and Articles of Association. the decision moking processes and the business plan for the
Charity. During the induction. they meet the other Trustees. Trustees are encouraged to attend appropriate external
troining events where these will focilitote the undertoking of their role_

The Board of Trustees administer the Chority. A McQuillan manoges the doy-to-day operations of the Charity.

Objectives and activities
a. Activities undertaken to achieve objertives
The Colourful Life Foundation helps support communities predominontly in Africo and Indio. Helping provide education.
supplies and bosic necessities for those in developing communities. the foundation helps IOOO'S of people. many of
them children. every year.
The Chority SLJPPOrts education and health projects in the developing world. either directly or via providing grants to
other charitable orgonisations.
The Chority works closely with the community to ensure thot investments ore wisely mode with positive long term
impacts.
b. Review of activities. achievements and performance
With our network of local Ambossodors we hove delivered on the following exciting project which continued to show
positive impocts..
Tanzania - We are proud to support Ace Africa's community development projects in Tanzania. helping to transform the
lives of children within the community.
Post year end. the Trustees have decided io close the charity and ceose choritoble activities. At the date these f inancial
statements were approved for issue. the charity has not been deregistered with the Charity Commission.

a. Going concern
The Trustees have assessed the Charity's ability to continue as a going concern. Post year end. the Trustees have

issue. the chority hos not been deregistered with the Chority Commission.
The accounts are therefore prepared on a basis other than the going concern basis.

b. Reserves policy
The Trustees review the reserve levels of the Chority onnuolly. This review encomposses the noture of income ond
expenditure streams. the need to motch income with commitments and the nature of reserves. The Trustees take into
consideration the future plans of the Charity. the uncertainty over future income streams and the other key risks
identified during the risk review.
The surplus reserves held by the Charity at 51 March 2025 were £59.146 (2024 - £27.681).
c. Future development
Post yeor end. the Trustees hove decided to close the Charity ond cease choritoble octivities. At the dote these f inancial
stotements were approved for issue, the chority hos not been deregistered with the Charity Commission.
d. Public benefit
The Trustees have each received the Charity Commission's guidelines on public benefit and this forms part of the
induction pock for new Trustees_
The Charity aims to build schools and fun(J teachers for the public benefit. in the areas in which it will be working. in
order to ensure the advancement of education. To meet its objective of the advancement of health or saving lives. the
Chority oims to build or improve current heolth facilities in the oreos in which it will operote.
Members. liability
The Members of the Charity guarontee to contribute an amount not exceeding £10 to the assets of the Charity in the
event of winding up.

Independent Examiner's Report to the Trustees of Colourful Life Foundation Cthe Chority.)
I report to the charity Trustees on my exominotion of the accounts of the Chority for the year ended 31 March 2025.
Responsibilities and Basis of Report
As the Trustees of the Chority (ond its directors for the purposes of compony low) you are responsible for the
preporation of the occounts in occordonce with the requirements of the Companies Act 2006 ('the 2006 Act,).
Having satisfied myself thot the occounts of the Chority are not required to be audited under Part 16 of the 2006 Act
and are eligible for independent examination. I report in respect of my examination of the Charity's accounts carried out
under secfion 145 of the Chorities Act 2011 ('the 2011 Act,). In carrying out my exominotion I have followed the Directions
given by the Chority Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the 2011 Act.

I have completed my examination. I confirm that no matters. other than those fully detailed below, have come to my
attention in connection with the exomination giving me reosonoble cause to believe thot in ony moterial respect..

Reports) Regulations 2008. My work has been undertaken so thot I might state to the Charity's TrLJStees those matters I

and registered with the Charity Commission. The Company's registered office address. charity number and
compony number ore given on the Reference ond Administrative Detoils section of these f inanciol stotements.
The noture of the Chority's operotions ond principol octivities ore detoiled in the Trustee's Report.
Accounting policies
2.1 Basis of preparation of financial statements
The finonciol stotements hove been prepored in occordonce with the Chorities SORP (FRS 102)- Accounting
and Reporting by Chorities". Stotement of Recommended Proctice opplicable to chorities preparing their
accounts in accordonce with the Financial Reporting Standord opplicoble in the UK and Republic of Ireland
(FRS 102) (effective 1 January 2019). the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of
Irelond (FRS 102) and the Componies Act 2006_
Colourful Life Foundotion meets the definition of o public benefit entity under FRS 102. Assets ond liobilities
are initiolly recognised ot historical cost or tronsaction value unless otherwise stated in the relevant
accounting policy.
2.2 Compony status
The Chority is o compony limited by guorontee. The members of the company ore the Trustees named on
poge 1. In the event of the Chorily being wound up. the liobility in respect of the guarantee is limited to £10
per member of the Charity.
2.3 Going concern
The Trustees hove ossessed the Chority's obility to continue os o going concern. Post year end. the Trustees
hove decided to close the chorily ond cease chariloble octivities. At the dote these financial statements
were approved for issue. the charity has not been deregistered with the Charity Commission.
The occounts ore therefore prepored on o bosis other thon the going concern bosis.
2.4 Income
All income is recognised once the Charity has entitlement to the income. it is probable that the income will
be received and the omount of income receivoble con be meosured reliobly.
Donations are recognised on o receivable basis (where there ore no performance-related conditions
attached) where the receipt is probable and the amount can be reliably measured.
Income tox recoverable irh relation to donotions received under Gift Aid or deeds of covenont is recognised
ot the time of the donotion.

2.5 Expenditure
Expenditure is recognised once there is a legal or constructive obligation to transfer economic benefit to
third porty, it is proboble thot o tronsfer of economic benef its will be required in settlement ond the omount
of the obligation con be measured reliobly.
Expenditure on choriloble oclivities is incurred on directly undertaking the activities which further the
Charity's objectives. as well os any associated support costs and costs relating to the governance of the
Charity.
Gronts poyoble ore charged in the yeor when the offer is mode except in those coses where the offer is
conditional. such gronts being recognised os expenditure when the conditions attaching ore f Ljlfilled. Grants
offered subject to conditions which have not been met at the year end are noted as a commitment, but not
accrued os expenditure_
2.6 Tangible fixed assets ond depreciation
Tongible fixed ossets are initially recognised ot cost. After recognition. under the cost model. tangible fixed
assets are measured at cost less accumulated depreciation and ony accumulated impairment losses.
Depreciotion is chorged so os to ollocote the cost of tongible fixed ossets less their residuol volue over their
estimoted useful lives. using the stroight line method.

2.8 Cash at bank and in hand
Cash at bank and in hand includes cosh and short-term highly liquid investments with a short maturity of

Liabilities are recognised when there is on obligation at the 8olonce Sheei dale as a result of a past event. it
is probable that a transfer of economic benefit will be required in settlement. and the amount of the
settlement can be estimoted reliobly.
