The Trust aims to improve the lives of people living and working in Bournemouth, particularly the most vulnerable and deprived and those not achieving their full potential. It takes an independent, evidence based, long term view, seeks to reduce inequality and focus on prevention and ensure the community is able to influence decisions. The Trust works within the principles of the Earth Charter.

Objects: 1.The Promotion For The Benefit Of The Public Of Urban Or Rural Regeneration In Areas Of Social And Economic Deprivation (And In Particular In Bournemouth & Surrounding Areas By All Or Any Of The Following Means:(a) The Creation Of Training And Employment Opportunities By The Provision Of Workspace, Buildings, And/or Land For Use On Favourable Terms: (B) The Provision Of Housing For Those Who Are In Conditions Of Need And The Improvement Of Housing In The Public Sector Or In Charitable Ownership Provided That Such Power Shall Not Extend To Relieving Any Local Authorities Or Other Bodies Of A Statutory Duty To Provide Or Improve Housing: (C) The Protection Or Conservation Of The Environment And The Prudent Use Of Resources(d)such Charitable Purposes For The Public Benefit As Are Exclusively Charitable According To The Laws Of England And Wales As The Trustees May From Time To Time Determine.
