**Objects:** (1) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC IN ALL AREAS RELATING TO FUNDAMENTAL DISEASES AND THEIR CAUSES, EFFECTS AND TREATMENTS; (2) TO PROMOTE AND PROTECT THE PHYSICAL AND MENTAL HEALTH OF SUFFERERS OF FUNDAMENTAL DISEASES AND THEIR CARERS THROUGH THE PROVISION OF SUPPORT, EDUCATION AND PRACTICAL ADVICE; (3) TO SUPPORT RESEARCH INTO THE CAUSES, EFFECTS, TREATMENT AND MANAGEMENT OF FUNDAMENTAL DISEASES AND THEIR APPLICATION TO COMMON DISEASES, AND DISSEMINATE THE USEFUL RESULTS THEREOF.
