The Charity advances education and promotes the performing arts of music and dance and knowledge of Parliament and parliamentary democracy, with particular reference to the Commonwealth. It does this through the staging of events, publishing information, collaboration with and support for other bodies and the award of grants to enable participation by those from under privileged backgrounds.

Objects: The Charity's Objects ("Objects") Are Specifically Restricted To The Following:1) The Advancement Of Education And The Promotion Of The Arts And In Particular But Without Limitation:i) The Performing Arts Of Music And Dance; Andii) Knowledge Of Parliament And Of Parliamentary Democracy Around The World And In Particular But Without Limitation With Reference To The Commonwealth.2) Such Charitable Purposes For The Public Benefit As Are Exclusively Charitable According To The Laws Of England And Wales As The Trustees May From Time To Time Determine
