**Activities:** The Midland Railway Society seeks to facilitate the study and research all aspects of the Midland Railway, including its predecessors and successors up to the modern era. The Society seeks to act as custodian of archive and written records pertaining to the Midland Railway etc.The Society provides opportunities for the public to view, copy, handle those records in a safe and secure environment.
