8¢{￿OrnI¢ disadvantage and those from more affluont bac*gTound$ remains significant. despite nurserles aTrJ
schools. to improve ovaT tho years. Using evidenc&based fram￿￿(5 to provide adult learning
progr*nrnes ft)r parentslcarers and other signifi￿t adults. we aim to improve adult interaclion knith babies
and youThJ children.

Despite ongoing challenges for sthools. 8 continued to deliver the programme up to July 2024, and 7 signod

parents consi5tenty over the year. had progressed two stage8 further across all areas of leaming than those
who did not atte￿1. Another school provided anecthtal eviden￿ that parents demonstrated more positi
relationshps with their chifvjren. ￿re more likely to ￿me to the school issuos arose and more likely to
volunteer at the school as a result of atlending groups.
Cornmunty group work reduced for a period during this y6ar due to the reduced cwty within the staff team.
However, groups ￿tre still maintained in various venues a(Yoss the most economically d8pri%*d areas of
WiThal. and families were able to access universal groups with their children.

£200.418. giving a reserKs polity tsrget of £50,104 for unrestricted and designated reseNes.
The Trusfs r8senMs held at 2024 year-erKI amounted £23,833 unrestricted (2023: £16.330), desbjnated
re8er¥fs £53.489 (2023: £74.859) and reslricknl £49.102 (2023". £40.677) which covets the charity's re8OP
