Victory Baptist Church Trustees (VBCT) are committed to ensure that people from different backgrounds are welcome to worship with us and to become part of our church community. The VBCT ensures that our evangelistic (outreach) services are as inclusive as possible to encourage all groups of people from different backgrounds and ages to be part of the church communty. VBCT have considered the Commission's guidance on public benefit and the specific guidan on charities for the advancement of religion. We strive to support ordinary people to live out their faith as part of our church community through.. 1. Worship and prayer, learning about the Gospel, and developing their knowledge and trust in Jesus. Regular Sunday services, communion service on first Sunday of each month, Bible studies and prayer meeting each week. 2. Provision of pastoral care for people, who are members of the church. Contact anyone who attends for the first time by phone call and or email, as well as regular members who may need visits from time to time. Support members where necessary in diverse ways, for example newly married couples, familieslsingle parents with new babies, the bereaved andlor homeless. Additional details of objectives and activities {Optional infomiation Contributions made by VolunteerJ We still rely heavily on volunteers. We pay our Senior Pastor a part-time allowance. Nobody else receives any allowan. All services and activities are carried out by volunteers. This is a significant contribution to the church as we save on staff salaries and wages. You may choose to include further statements, where relevant, about.. policy on grantmaking., policy programme related investment., The continued reliance on volunteers is what has sustained the church financially to date. We couldn't carry on without their immense contribution. Savings We continue our savings account with London Baptist Property Board {LBPBI as we believe we will buy our own plac8 of worship in future. This is the only savings account we currently have. contribution made by volunteers. TAR March 2012
Section D Achievements and performance Summary of the maln achievements of the charity during the year Worship and Prayer Regular Sunday church seiCe lin person and via Facebook) Wednesday Bible Studies {virtual via telephone conferen) Friday Prayer meeting interceding on behalf of the church, the individual needs, the local community and London in g8neral. Family Life and Pastoral Care Generally, we encourage members to call each other by phone and in person to help creat8 fellowship and bonding, and to be each other's keeper. We have a main WhatsApp plattomi for the whol8 church, used as a noti board to convey messages to all. As new people join us we add them to this platfomi so they are not left out. We have Separate WhatsApp platforms for men. women and youth. These are used lo communicate information that are relevant to the particular group members. Because these are smaller platforms. we ensure thal we are in touch with one another. Members have open doof access to our pastors and leaders and are encouraged to talk to someone whenever th8y need to. We have corporate fasting p8riods, beginning of January and the last week of each month. This helps in our spiritual growth. We have feasts like Thanksgiving dinner, Christmas dinner, Valentine dinner. Such feasts bring us logether in infomal settings and we are able to invite friends and family along. The women in the church are r8sponsible for the cooking. Mlsslon and Evangelism We also carried out these aclivlties.. Compasslon UK - Church members continue to support this international charity to be able to help others who are le88 fortunate than we are. Several members sponsor children in poor ountries around the world. They do so by direct debit from their individual bank accounts. We made our annual subscriptions to Baptlst Unlon of Great Brltaln and London Baptist Assoclatlon. In October, we donatsd all ol ono Sunday's offering to Broast Cancer Care. Children and Youth Our youth numbor¥ hav• not recovered Since lockdown. Thoy join main church body for Bible studies and occasionally meet via Zoom and Team for their own Bible Studies. worship times and online Christian quizzes and games. TAR March 2012

Our principal sources of funds are through donations, tithes and offerings, as well as special thanksgiving service (last Sunday in November) and Gift Aid clairn. We continue to hold our savings account with London Baptist Property Board ILBPB} with a hope to buy our own place ofworship in future, however due to our low numbers we have not been able to make new deposits since the lockdown.
