**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE GURDWARA SHALL BE TO PROMOTE THE SIKH RELIGION BY ALL OR ANY OF THE FOLLOWING MEANS:3.1 TO PROVIDE &amp; MAINTAIN A GURDWARA (SIKH TEMPLE) IN OR NEAR THE TOWN OF NUNEATON FOR WORSHIP ACCORDINGLY TO THE PRINCIPLES OF THE SIKH RELIGION.3.2 TO PROVIDE AND MAINTAIN A RESIDENCE FOR A PRIEST3.3 TO PRACTISE AND CELEBRATE RELIGIOUS &amp; CULTURAL FESTIVALS ACCORDING TO THE SIKH IDEOLOGY AS STATED BY THE SGPC AMRITSAR.3.4 TO HOLD DAILY, WEEKLY, MONTHLY AND SPECIAL RELIGIOUS SERVICES.3.5 TO PERFORM BIRTH, MARRIAGE, DEATH AND OTHER RITES ACCORDING TO THE SIKH FAITH.3.6 TO PROVIDE LITERATURE OF THE SIKH RELIGION.3.7 TO TEACH GURUMUKHI SCRIPT AND RELIGIOUS MUSIC.3.8 TO TEACH AND EDUCATE YOUNG MEMBERS OF THE SIKH COMMUNITY IN THE DOCTRINES AND PRACTISES OF THE SIKH RELIGION.3.9 TO ORGANISE FACILITIES FOR THE WELFARE &amp; CARE OF THE ELDERLY PEOPLE AND PERSONS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS.3.10 TO PROMOTE AND DEVELOP HEALTH AWARENESS, I.E. DANGERS OF DRINKING, SMOKING AND DRUG TAKING AMONG YOUTHS.3.11 TO PROMOTE AND DEVELOP GOOD RELATIONSHIP AND UNDERSTANDING TOWARDS THE PEOPLE OF OTHER FAITHS.3.12 TO HELP SUFFERERS OF NATURAL AND OTHER DISASTERS.

**Activities:** Practise &amp; celebrate religious &amp; cultural festivals according to the Sikh faith. Provide literature of the Sikh religion. Organise facilities for the welfare and care of the elderly people and persons with special needs. Promote and develop health awareness (dangers of drinking, smoking, drug taking among youths).Educating children from local schools about the Sikh way of life.
