The year to 30 SeptetTrber 2W25 has beerA a very busy one. Again, mor¢ alld mor¢ people are falling into poverty,
due mainly to higb infiation, rising prices of eSS￿tial$ and the high¢r cost of energy experienced over the pttiod.
We w¢r¢ fortunate to see the compassion alld 5uppon of our communities in the Merthyr and Cvtion vall¢y atr&8
and grateful for outstandin8 8enero5ity of the local authoritie5, businesses and public supp)rting tIL¢ir local food
bank.
The Foodbank continue8 to b¢ in a financially strong positiotL Local busiti¢sw, local authoritics, local churches
and It￿1vIdual$ hav¢ been most generous.

The Trustees camnot put a vakne on th¢ totsl dollated food supplies and as such h8ve not included aTLy amounts in

FILSAfiCIAL REVIEW
The charity has been sllcee58th1 in securing fijnding overth¢ l&st 12 months. The cbarity received total fLwding of
£69,686 in 2025 compared with £91,703 iti the year to 30 September 2024. It is the atm of the charity to
coniinually souree additional fvnding and will aim to lticre￿ fi]nding levels over the next 12 montbs. A ¢asb
deficit of £32.426 was itieurr￿ in the year. (2024.. Defi¢it £13.616). It is the aim of the ¢I￿rIty through ¢ar¢ful

Upon reviewing the reSc￿eS policy, thetrustee5 decid￿ to maintsin afinancial reservc, approximately equivalent
to the nornial, predictable outgoing5 Of 2 years. Ln 2025 is approximately £150.000. The Ch￿lty ojrrendy has
free reserves of £93,686 which is short of thi5 wget. The trusttts are awar¢ of this situation and il is their aim to
