Objects and a¢tMty.
The objects of the charity are to provKle the relief of etroJtkThl Ilistress and suffering and the
preservation and protection of the mentsl and phystil health of men. women. young people and
chIld￿n who have suffered or are exposed to dornestic violtnce and abuse the Waveney area. We
wi)rk local￿ with over 45 statutory and vofuntary agerw. to help people es¢ape dO￿￿St[C violence and
abuse.

The Charity is fvnded solely from grants and dortations with the maionTr of its income being derived
from grants received for Specif￿ projects for a specific perKMJ of tinE. It works closely with the Suffolk
Police & crtrne Commisstty*rs arnl is verygrateful for the Brants re￿ived from them.

projerts. Whilst there is no guarantee of future fundirK they are also confident that ftJThJÈng receivable
n the next financial year. as well as grants currently beir* applied fvr. will enable the Charity to
continue its work beyorKI the next twelve month
The Charlty employed 4 rnèmbers of staff dur￿￿ the year whose costs were £36,884.66. All consultation
and advice services are pr￿ided by extemal consultants or freelance workers on specifir projects.
£1,068 12021 £1.1201 was paid to reimburse Trustees for expenses inctsrred by them wholly for the
purposes ofthe Charity.

The trustees have identtfied that the marn risks and uncertainties to ensuring the Forum Is able to
continue its objectives are-
The charity's fvnding Is derived frorn a nuFthr of relatr¥ely short term grants and awards. If
ircuMstan￿5 should change so that thi5 fijnding is no longer available, or grant awarders
de¢lde to meet their r*eds from altemati¥e provKters. then the r￿uCtion in the Charitvs
income wgukl haye a very serious impact on its ability to continue. The Trustees mltigate
thts risk by maintaining an extreme￿ g￿mI relatttinship ￿th funding bodies, ensuring they
provkde the highest quality of servtce and with the best value for money for fund providers.
The char￿5 ability to recruit and retain key staff is essential in being able to deliver
continued and quality service. and Pla￿ a high valtstr on the performance and exeellence of
serwce provlders.
Wtth the number of IndN*4ual grants. effective cashflow control is essential in enSUfing that
funds are always available in order to enga￿ servKe providers. The trustees ensure that
there is always a minlmum of £7.51XI available in tsnrestricted funds forthis purpose.

The charitys trustees are responsib￿ for thè preparatton of the accounts. The charlty's trustees
consider that an audit is not fequired forthi5 year under section 4312) of the charittes Act 1993 (the Actl
