Teddington Methodist Circuit is consliluted under the Methodist Church Act 1976. Tha (Say
lo day operational activity. conslilulional practice, usage and discipline of the Circuit Is
regulated by the Conslilulional Pracliee and Di$¢ipline Df the Melhodisl Church and
delÈnrined by Standing Orders as agreed by the annual Melhodisl Conference and
published in the Minute8 of Conference
The Circuit Meeting makes Important deosions on a range of subjects, amongst which are
circuit finances, circuit Invitations an¢ extensions The Circuit Meeting acts as Managing
Trustee with the attendant respon5ibililies lor each individual memb8r The following were
appointed In accordance with the Constitution of IhÈ Melhodisl Chur¢h, to 5enfe during year
endetl 31 August 2025.

The Trustees of the Teddington Circuit normally rreel three times a year. and on each
occasion re￿1ve repotts reviewing progress in achieving the obiecliv&s and vision of the
Circuit. The Circuit Leadership Team. comprising the Minister, Lay Pastor, Circurt Stewards
and lay-worker. meet regulaily to give focus lo the conversation and dec1810n making
process of the Cir¢urt Meeting and final decisions are ratified or taken by the Managing
Twslees.
The Revd David A Innes joined the Cir¢urt on 1 September 2017 and became Circuit
Supennlendenl with effect from 1 SÈptember 2020 Revd Innes has p88toral responsibility
for the East Mole5ey and Ted(Iington Churches Lay Pastor Philip Slaier was appointed In
the Circuit with effect from 1 September 2023 and ha$ pasioral re5ponsibilily for the
Hampton Hanworth and Sunbury Churches.
A part time lay worker and a part time circuil admini$tralor are employed on contracts
approved by the Trustee8 based on advice from the London Oislrict Lay Employment
Advisor
