, On February 24th 2012, a 16-year-old boy from the neighborhood-whom I
recognized as Steve stood outside my house. Without any preamble, he
slmply asked,"Can I come In for a few mlnutes?YY I welcomed hlm Inslde,
prepared him somethingto eat, and observed as he consumed every bite a5
if he had not had a proper rneal in day& Only once his immediate hunger
was satlsfied dld he begln to share his storyi aibelt In small, he51tant
fragments.
He expialned hls home sltuatlon: wlth dlvorced parents he alongwlth hls
younger slbllng8 who reslde wlth their mother face dally challenges. Days
when there Is no electrlclty, days when there Is little food and days when
the Children, despite their pride, must knock on neighbours, doors to
request asslstance. Steve dld not recount this wlth dramatization; he
presented It as an ordlnary part of life-a boy who has learned that help wlll
not come, and so heslmply continuesto sur4lve.
That night, I found It Impos51ble to sleep. I kept visualizlng hlrn at my table,
eatlng qulckly, hoping for more.
That experience marked the inception of Mishon. Having witnessed
( firsthand the profound strugzles faced by Steve and countless others like
hlm, Mrs. Chlppy Flohr and Mrs. Rachel Frenkelfelt a compelllngdutyto
Intervene. Motlvated by compasslon, understandln& and a commltment to
preservlng dignlty, they resolved to develop a means of provldlng
meaningful 5UPPOrt and 5tablllty to those In need.
Mlshon Is a London-based, non-proflt organlzation dedlcated to offerlng
practical, financial, and emotional a55iStance to individuals facing crises
resultlng from unemployment, Illness. or other flnancial hardshlps.

Footprints of care
Mishon is rooted in cornpa55ion and kindness. dedicated to walking
alongside those in need. Through our effort5, we've provided
countless individuals with the simple comforr of new shoes and
clothing, helpingthem feel valued, cared for, and ready to embrace
each new day. We work with generosity and caré, sourcing clothing
from end-of-season sales and giving it to those in need free of
charge as well as sourcing shoe vouchers so individuab can make
their own choices. Every pair of shoes and piece tsf clothlng we
share represents a step towar(J hope. dignlty, and a brighter future
for the families and cornmunities we serve.

Wlth a focus on Every Meal Matters chlldren and young people were
supported through a new weekend inltiatlve, ensurlng individuals had

chailenees alone. Through our home essentials project, we
provided vital item5 like toilet paper. soaps, and Sanitary pads to
those in need, helping them m&ntain dignity, comfort, and good
health. These 5irnple e55entiab are often out of reach for rnany, yet
they are fundamental to everyday wellbeing. By sharing these
necessiti• we airn to ease their struggles. protnote hygiene, and
ind every individual thatthey are valued and cared for.

The Aims of the Charity are as follows

Grant making policy
The charity is funded by donatior6 and grants. The char5ty Elves out grants in line wlth the
above objects. The charity paid out a total of £9.310.35 in grants to individua15 comprising
of holiday grants ￿ well as grants falling in line with the charity's objects.
Reserves Policy
The Trustees aim to maintain unrestricted fund% which are the free reserves of the Charity
at a level of at least three to six months running costs and up to one years running costs.
The Trustees are pleased to have achieved a leve( of reserves for the Charity this pastyear.

Mishon is constituted under atrust deed, dated 20th September 2012 and is a Registered

The criteria set for the suitable candidate would be someonewho is sensitive to the needs
and demands of the organisation.

All major decisions are taken collectively by the trustees and all thetrustees give of theirtime
freely. The trustees are unpaid and detaits of any related party transactions are disdosed as
