Church going numbers remain lowerth8n pre covid. and we have notgained B signrficant number of new members. Those who do attend iegularly continue to be heavily involv8d in church life. The picture in terms of community based activity. however. seems to have changed since COVID, with what seems likè 8n increase in onlilne actI￿tieS which impacts on face to face activities, particularly as regards tr8inln8 and team meetings. Duetothe energyeilsis 8nd co* of livingcrlsis, much of ourKirklnthe communityhas been foeussed on helping people deal with these challenges. as well as isoL8tion. loneliness and mental and phYS￿8lVleI1tse1n8. FINANCETh8nks to grants. donations and regular givln& we hav8 been able to report 8 healthy balance Sheet. Room hire has improved considerably over18Styear, but of course due to the cost of livin8 crisis. so h8v8 our costs. . THE CENTrE Wor* continues on improving the fabrlc of the building. but the ev8iiable of contractors to do the work does create problems. COMMUNITY CHAPLAIN Voirrey Is v8ry busyworking in the communty. meeting with peopl8 Bt end of life, and conducting funerals. WORSHIP In person v40rship contlnues. with a lower attendance. but our regularly newsletter now has an increased mailing list. We now have 8 worship group vtho take responsibility for leadIngv￿rShlp2 or3times each quarter. which isvery positlve.
