A review of the Trust Objectives was undertaken lo ensure that the Trusl ramained ￿Trevant In provtding
appropriate and mutual support lo tho community. Careful consideration has been made in vtilising the
Trust fund. Requests and applications of funding from the community or individuals wore supported in a
timely manner. whilst all obligations imposed on the Trust by the Charities Commission. Companies Housè
and HMRC were adhered to.
Ag Chaimian of the Ellingham Community Trus( l am pleased to present this yearfs achievemonts, which
reflect our ongoing commitment to supporting the parish and strengthening our communty. A k•y hlghlight
of this year has been the Trust's comprehensive review of all govemance policies and a full rav1￿ of the
Trusvs oblectiveg to ensure we are fil for the future, we look forward to implementing these in the next
year. This work ensures that V+e remain forward-thinking and well-positioned to serve the parish effeetivoty
in the years ahead.
Adivilies and Aehl•vements
Th8 Green Scheme has successfully approved 8 applications, helping parishioners purchase or repla¢•
energy•efficient Items for thelr homes. Thls Initlatlve continues lo promote sustainability and reduce energy
costs across the parish.
The Training and Education Support Scheme saw a posrtive response, wlth 10 applicaloro approved.
Followng last yeaVs adjustsnenls to better serve younger parishioners, the scheme has continued to
support both professional development and club activities, empowering individuals to grow their skills and
pursue new opportunities.
The Solld Fuel Scheme remains a crlucal Ilfeline for our communrty, with over 130 households bengfiting
from financial support for winter fu81. The early launch of the scheme once again provthd stability and
comfort to those concemed about heating their homes during the colder months.
This year, the Trust also supported the creation of a parish photographic archN8. a sIgn￿¢ant project
aimed at preserving the visual history of our community- W8 eagerty anti¢ipate tho completlon of thls
important historical record. In addition, the Trust remains steadfast in its support for the local church and
the school, ensuring they continue to thrive as essential pillats of our communlty.
Finally, the Tnjslees bid a fond farewell to Mr. Bob Stuart, a long-standing member and origlnal trustee of
the Ellingham Community Trust, who rets'red from the Trust this year. 8ob's dedication and $eriJlce since
the creation of the Trust have been invaluable. and we extend our heartfelt thanks for his cOntribu￿on$.
INe wsh him well in his retirement and express our immens8 gratitude for hi$ many years of ￿Mm1trAent
to the parish.
