Activities

The purpose of the charity is to provide funds for units providing healthcare for individuals suffering from cardiac and neurological issues. We organise events involving our local community in order to raise awareness of the effects of such healthcare issues and in order to raise funds to allow these units to continue to providing the first class service that the founders' families experienced.

Objects: 1 To Promote The Physical And Psychological Health And Well-Being Of Children And Young People Who Suffer With Cardiac Problems And Who Require The Services Of The Children's Heart Unit, Wales. This Will Be Achieved Through Raising Money To Purchase Specialist Equipment That Will Benefit All Service Users.2 To Promote The Physical And Psychological Health And Well-Being Of People Who Have Suffered A Head Injury And Brain Trauma And Who Require The Services Of The Neurosciences Specialist Rehabilitation Services. This Will Be Achieved Through Raising Money To Purchase Specialist Equipment That Will Benefit All Service Users.3 To Advance The Knowledge, Understanding And Education Of School Age Children With Regard To The Need For Good Cardiac And Cardiovascular Health Care. This Will Be Achieved Through The Provision Of Age Appropriate Education And Practical Advice Within Schools And Other Appropriate Forums.4 To Advance The Knowledge, Understanding And Education Of School Age Children With Regard To Head Injury And Brain Trauma. This Will Be Achieved Through The Provision Of Age Appropriate Education And Practical Advice Within Schools And Other Appropriate Forums.5 To Advance The Knowledge, Understanding And Education Of School Age Children With Regard To Road Awareness And Safety. This Will Be Achieved Through The Provision Of Age Appropriate Education And Practical Advice Within Schools And Other Appropriate Forums.
