taken on a pivotsl role in leading and coordinating relief efforts dursng
times of crisis. The organisation demonstrated its commitment to
impactrul support by playing a critical role in responding to major
disasters, such as the devastating earthquakes in Turf(ey Morocco.

Local food bank donatlons
Regularly donated focKI and toiletrtes to 9 different Focal food￿nks, up and
down the county from Uxtsidge to Reading to North Wa￿, Lake District,
Watford. Manchester, and as far as Hunoy in Scodand. A totsl of 2.6 tonn•8
were donated. We also fed the birds on a ￿￿lar basis with a tolal of 500kg of
bird f(M)d given.
Food parcels for schools
We have SUPfM)rted variotjs sch(K)L8 in dewved areas dry food rations
consisb'ng of everyday fLX)d essentials. induding loilelrie& The children and their
families have beneffted from this projec( as many of these families needed ex1ra
help during the Christrnas arKI surnmer sclK)ol holrdays. A notKeable change
becomes aFparent when children are provi￿ wth nuthbous and healthy meals.
Elderly care home
Volunteering at an elderfy care I￿ne brought happiness and comfort lo
resNJents who felt lonety or isolated through ojmpanionship and attentive
listening. Volunteers had the Chan￿ lo leam from the wisdom and eXperien￿S
of the older generab"on, fostering empathy and understanding of the challenges
of aging. By organising actMtEs, assisting wth meals, ar￿ supporting mobilty,
they conln"buted to improving the well-bwng of Ihe residents and creating a
stimulaty"ng. supportj.ve enwronment.
Environmental projects
We have supported the Calrfomia County Path n Finchampstead in Bert(s wth
the environmental conservatKJn programme. The restoratKJn project and the
effort have had a posth impact on wildlife and eo)systems, with volunteers
feeling empowered that they have made a signfftant differen￿.
At the Moun1 Vemon Gan¢er Gemre In Northwoou, our volunteers have
conbnued to help wrth the upkeep of the garden and grounds at the ￿ntre.
The garden gNes the patients and staff kne to relax unwnd.
We fo(xJsed on l0Tr34erm SLthinabilty by planting frutt tre8s in
collaboration with local communities and organisations. Our volunteers
prepared the soil, water8J the trees. arKJ protected them from pests. We
also prowded ongoing support wtth regular Maintenan￿ to ensure the
trees thrived. By choosing the nght tree varieties for the local area, we
aime(I to create spaces that benefited both people and wildltfe.
Animal care
We prDvided SUPFQrt to Brcok Animal Sanduary, a havell for abandoned
and rescued animaL8, by volunteering conth'buting to their care. Our efforts
induded building fen￿. clearing land, and donab.ng veg8n animal feed lo
ensure the animaL8 r￿￿ed a nutritK)us, cruety-free diet Through this support.
we made a meaningful difference in the INes of these inn¢Thit anwnaL8, helping
to create a safe and nurturing environment for them.

On September 17, 2023, ACT F￿rKlat￿ cg18brated its 20th anniversary,
marking hvo decajes of d&Jtcated Servi￿ to humanity and the
environment. Wth aroLbnd 120 guests. induding dvJnrtaries, we were ablg
to convey the POV•Erful work of ACT.
International
ACT4Ukraine
We conkn.nued our cx)mmrfment to supporbng dtsplacaj people in Ukraine. In the
summer of 2023. we sent our 61h ath"culated brry with 22 tonnes of essential
food rtems. Our Voluntee￿ travelled lo vil￿geS in Chernivtsi, where they
peT50nalty distributed fr￿ to families. hospitals. children's care homes. elderly
care homes, and other organisations. Many diSpla￿d wple have lost theiT
homes jobs due to the orwing ￿nflit making il hard for th￿￿ to find
enough fts)d. Our food amy. induding canned gcN)ds, grains, non-perishable
items. and toiletTies, has t*en wtsl in eastng their suffering. It also brings hope
and relief to those who have faced unimaginable hardships, reminding them that
there are people who care and want to help.
Srl Lanka
We eonth.nued to Sup[￿ the ACT Sri Lanka team with their ACT4SriLanka and
ACT4Viwon inrtJ"atNes. In 2023. they a daily school meal programme that
provided over 35,000 nutnts.ous vegan meals aeross four schools. This helpe
encourage children to attend schth)I regulady and on their studies. Under
the ACT4Vision initiatsve. we supported over 500 catsract eye surgerles, helping
many peop￿ regain their sight We also compbeted a water well project that
prov￿led ckan drinking water to around 75 wple in a rural village. A￿sS to
c￿n water is 8 basK human righ( and these we115 brought hope and better
heamh to COMMUnrt￿ that had struggw wrth water S￿rcty for generations.
Moldova
We worked wrth another charity, TEECH. knuwn for its Charitab￿ activiti.es in
Mol¢Jova. We donated neaty 9 tonnes of fcKMJ for disthbution in Moldova and
UkTrine. We also sent over 90 shoeboxes fil￿ wrth clothes, toys, a￿1 snacks to
displaced Ukrainkgn chiklren liwng in Moklova, just in time for the feslNe season.
Romanla
In RC￿anra. we distrijuted nearly 1.5 tonnes of fcN)d rtems in the t)orohoi are8
as part of OLsr Ukraine initkatrve. This effort aim•d to supwrt thosè sffocted by
the ongoing Conffl￿ in Ukraine. The f(KxI items provKled essential nourishment
to families in need. helFMng to allevHte their hardships during drfticult times. Our
volunteets worked hard lo ensure that the food reached th¢)se who needed it
most, making a pothve inp¥A on the txmnmunty.
Nepal
ACT Nepal undertcok important initiatives to help marginalized communiks in
the county. One notsble project focused on supporting the indigenous Chepang
people, who are among the most econ￿￿allY depnved. The ACT te
provided e$Sen￿"al fc(#J ratiorts to meet imm￿J￿91e n*ds and improve the well-
being of this communty. They also supported the Rising Chiklren's Home
by providir>g food, snacks, and games fc* d)ikJren just before the sch¢)ol
holklays, helping to create a joyful atmosphere. Additionally, the team provided
nulrilhjus fL*)d lo senM)r citizens, donated to a home for chiklren with autism, and
planbj fruit trees in ru￿1 mountain areas for sustainability. The ACT UK leam
worked dosely with ACT Nepal, offering signrftsnl finanual assistance to
SUPF*Xt these intbatives.

Children sponsorship programme in Croatia
We conbnued to suppNt the sponsorship of tsvo children. This finan¢rJl
assistan￿ was very hewul for t￿1[ well-beirvJ and their StUd￿S. It provided
them wilh acc￿ to essential resources. such as ￿h0o1 supplies, books, and
nutrTtM)us meals. As a resu￿ the thiklren were able to fo(JJs more on their
educatKJn and overall development. Knowng that they W this support gave
them a sense of S￿nty and hope for a bTwJhter future.
Turkey & Morocco earthquake
In the immediate aft￿Math of the earthqu*e. our organtsation quKkty mobilised
our dedicated disaster relief team lo the affethd areas. Their main mission was
to promde essentsl supplEs, including water, f¢)od, tents, heaters, and other
humanrtarian aid. The team worked tirelessly to meet the urgent needs of the
affected communths. ensuring that families had acLe5S to bas￿ ne¢essrti8S
during a very drff￿rt tsme. They provided immediate relief while also offering
emolKJnal support to those who had lost their hcrfnes and loved ones. Through
their efforts, they helped restore a sense of hope and community 5Pifit among
the survivor5, shcwing that they were not al0￿ in their stru931e.
