Etatu aims to build a resourceful community, through education: we work closely with local primary schools, currently sponsor 63 secondary pupils, manage the resource centre & library which we built five years ago, fund & train teachers, run a community jigger clinic, provide weekly meals, educational assistance and healthcare to 40 orphans and run community environmental education workshops.

Objects: 3.1 The Objects Of The Charity Are To Advance For The Public Benefit In Kenya, In Particular Without Limitation In The Msambweni District:3.1.1 The Prevention Or Relief Of Poverty Of Those In Need By Reason Of Financial Hardship Or Other Disadvantage, And To Work Towards Raising The Standard Of Living Of Those In Need In Particular Without Limitation:(a) Fishermen And Their Families; (B) Farmers And Their Families; (C) Women Raising Families On Their Own; (D) Orphans And Those Aiming To Support Or Sustain Them; And(e) Those Living With Hiv/aids And Its Consequences; 3.1.2 Education Of Children And Young Adults In Particular Without Limitation To Enhance Their Life Chances By Improving Access To And The Quality Of Education And To Develop Their Capacity And Skills In Such A Way As They Are Better Able To Identify And Help Meet Their Needs And Participate More Fully In Society;
