## **Achievements and performance** 

|Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity’s work has made to<br>the circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a<br>whole.|Para 1.20|**Services**<br>Through 2021 activities continued to be<br>affected by the COVID pandemic and the<br>restrictions placed on meeting together at<br>various times within the period.  Despite this,<br>we were able to continue to hold a Sunday<br>morning service every week adhering to all<br>the restrictions in place at the time.<br>We utilised web-based conferencing<br>technology to make Sunday morning<br>services available to people who could not<br>attend the Chapel in person.  These services<br>were well attended with an average of 35<br>people joining together each week.  The<br>worship, Bible teaching and sharing together<br>has been effective in supporting many in<br>their journey of faith.<br>**Life Groups**<br>Smaller groups met online to have bible<br>study and to pray together for the building of<br>faith and mutual support.<br>**Supporting the Wider Christian**<br>**Community**<br>The Chapel was able to provide financial<br>support to other Christians and Christian<br>Organisations as part of its objective to<br>advance the Christian faith for public benefit.<br>Through regular collections of food, we were<br>able to pass these on to the local Foodbank<br>for distribution to those in need in the local<br>community.<br>**Engagement of new Minister**<br>In September, we welcomed a new Minister ,<br>his wife and children into the church family.<br>He has been appointed to lead in the<br>planning of the teaching programme,<br>undertake a proportion of bible teaching,<br>leading the church’s community and<br>evangelistic roles and provide a visible focus<br>for leadership within the church.|

## **Financial review** 

|Review of the charity’s<br>financial position at the end<br>of the period|Para 1.21|At the end of the financial period, the<br>financial position was in line with the budget<br>set and agreed by the members.<br>Income remained consistent so over the<br>course of the year and even with the<br>additional salary costs for the last four<br>months, there was a surplus of income over<br>expenditure at the end of the financial<br>period.|
