Trust structure and management:
The Trust Is a registered charity, number 1148684, and Is constltuted under a trust deed dated 20th July 2012.
The Trust was established by an initial gift from the trustees in 2012 and was additionally funded by an
expendable donation from the estate of AM Burton ISIPP) in 2013.
In 2018 a donatlon of £1 rnillion was made by GH8 Holdings Ltd. Further donations of £51XI,000 were
received in 2020, 2021 & 2024. An additional donation of £1 million was made thi5 year.
Two of the dlrectors of GHB Holdings Ltd are also trustees of the AMB Charitable Trust.
The Trust doe5 not usually fundraise and seeks to continue the charitsble V￿rk desired by the trustees
through the careful stewardship of its existing resourtes.
All trustees glve of their time freely and no trustee renumeration wa5 paid in the year.
Rlsk management:
The trustees have considered the major risks to which the charity Is ext*)sed and have reviewed those rlsks
and established systems and procedures to manage those risks.
Charitsble obJe¢tlves as stated in the deeds:
The Trust15 a grant making charity. The trustees shall hold the capital and income of the Trust Fund upon
trust for such one or more charlties or charitable institutions or for any other purposes in any part of the
world as shall be exclustvely charitable according to the law of Engknd and In such shares and proportion a5
they shall think fit includlng the following:
the advan￿ment of medical research
the advancement of education
the maintenance, improvement or provision of public amenlties or recreatlonal facllitie5
to promote and further community participatlon in healthy ￿CreatIOn
to benefit people in areas of social and economic deprivation
the relief of poverty and unemployment

Grant maklng pollcy:
The Trusys Brant making policy is primarily to provide fund5 for charitles and worthy causes in the Bridllngton
l East Yorkshire area. Other charities and worthy causes outside this will be considered.

How ourgrant making programme dell¥ered publk benefft:

This year the Trust has donated another £50.000 to the Bridlington Intouniversity Centre whlth is worklng
with the Universitles of Hull & York. It is an accessible learning centre whose mission Is to bring Higher
Educatlon within reach of some of Bridlington's poorest chlldren. thereby openln8 a world of new life
possibilities.
The Trust has continued to fund the university tuition fees of 2 students each year from Headlands School,
Bridlington, from unprivileged backgrounds for 3 year5 each. Thi5 year the bursarles pald totalled E52.9LN).
The AMB Trust a150 donated another £20,000 to The Hinge Centre In Bridlingion which "alms to ensure that
whilst living in a deprivÈd area. the residents stlll have the same acces5 to seNlces. benefits & support that
any other member of soclety does." The Centre helps to break repetitive cycles, improve emotional &
physical wellbeing and increase community Participation. It supports them to achleve financial Inclusion.
make positive choices and support their familie5 to prevent generational cycles of poverty & exclusion.
Other Yorkshire based charities receiving donations thls year:
A donation of £2,¢KJO to 8ridllngton Nursey khool to enable them to purchase an industrial dishwasher
which will make a huge differen￿ to the daily running of the nursery school.
A donation of £5.￿)0 to The FEshermen's Trust which provides emergency & welfare support to active &
fomier fishermen & their famil￿ In Yorkshire.
National-
The Trust ha5 continued to donate to both well- known & also smaller, lesser-known natlonal charities and
has speciflcally requested the money Is spent in the East Yorkshire area..
