**Objects:** 3.1.THE PRIMARY AIMS AND OBJECTS OF THE UNION SHALL BE THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION OF STUDENTS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF BRADFORD FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY:-I. PROMOTING THE GENERAL INTERESTS OF STUDENTS AND MEMBERS.II. BEING A RECOGNISED AND REPRESENTATIVE CHANNEL OF COMMUNICATION BETWEEN ITS MEMBERS, THE UNIVERSITY OF BRADFORD (THE UNIVERSITY) AND OTHER BODIES.III. PROVIDING FOR THE CULTURAL, RECREATIONAL, SPORTING, SOCIAL, WELFARE NEEDS OF ALL ITS MEMBERS.IV. PROVIDING SUCH FACILITIES AS ARE APPROPRIATE AND DESIRABLE TO ACHIEVE THE ABOVE.V. REPRESENTING STUDENTS IN ACADEMIC, DISCIPLINARY OR OTHER MATTERS RELATING TO THE WELFARE OF OUR STUDENTS.VI. ENRICHING AND ENHANCING THE EDUCATIONAL AND SOCIAL EXPERIENCE OF STUDENTS AND TO PROVIDE OPPORTUNITY FOR THE PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT OF STUDENTS;
