The Charity is governed by its amended conslitution adopted on the Twenty Seventh Day of November 2019.
There are currently seven ap￿inted tr￿tee5. In the case of a trustee ceasing to act as such for any Teason, the
remaining trustees may appoint another to take their place. New trustees are advised of their responsibilities as
trustees on appointTnellt.
The trustees report that in accordance with the Constitutio￿ they have endeavourcd to cornply the
aims and objects of the Cl]2rity.
Following forn]ulated accounting policies. accounts for the year ending 3 1st July 2022 have been
carefully prepared and follom. this ststemenL These accounts comply with the recommelldcd Accounting
Standards of tbe Charity Commissioners.
Reasonable and prndent judgements and estimates are used in the management of LOS Musical Theatre
operations to ensure the correct application of fimds and income. The assets of the charity have been
carefully managed for the advantsge of th¢ s￿Iety.
The trustees have asse&8ed the major risks to which the charity is expose￿ and are satisfied that the
systems are in place to mitig&te exposure to the major risks.
OBJECtS and AcfivITIES
Thc Objects of the Society are lo edu￿1¢ the public ID the dramatic and operatic arts, and to fi￿ber the
dev¢lopment of public appreciation and taste in the said arts. by the ￿rformanCe of musical productions. Also, for
the public benefit to promote the education and training of tnembers (or past members) in such ways as the charity
trustees see fit, including awarding to such peTSOllS scholarships or grants tenable at any univcrsity, college or
institution in relatioo to the t￿rfOrn1lllg arts.
REVIEW
The attached accounts fully delail the financial position of the Charity. Following the pandemic we have been able
to return to putting on any productions again during the rq)orting periol albeit with necessarily red￿ed audience
nuEnbers.
The result for the year shows a deficit of £3289 and tbe tllL5tees consider the finatLcial position of the Charity &s at
3 1st July 2022 to be satisfactory.
Reserves are maintained at a level considered appropriate by the t￿slee$ in ord¢r for the tharity to meet
the requirements of its objects.
