**Objects:** FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, THE RELIEF OF SICKNESS AND THE PROMOTION AND PROTECTION OF GOOD HEALTH AMONGST PEOPLE SUFFERING FROM BEHÇET’S DISEASE, THEIR FAMILIES, CARERS AND ANY OTHER PERSONS AFFECTED BY THE DISEASE, BY ANY MEANS DEEMED APPROPRIATE BY THE TRUSTEES FROM TIME TO TIME, INCLUDING BY:- THE PROVISION OF INFORMATION AND SUPPORT SERVICES THROUGH THE THREE CENTRES OF EXCELLENCE SITUATED IN LONDON, BIRMINGHAM AND LIVERPOOL;- FOSTERING EDUCATION, COLLABORATION AND NETWORKING IN THE MEDICAL AND ALLIED PROFESSIONS WITH AN INTEREST IN BEHÇET’S DISEASE;- THE PROMOTION AND ASSISTANCE OF RESEARCH INTO BEHÇET’S DISEASE AND THE DISSEMINATION OF THE USEFUL RESULTS THEREOF; AND- THE FORMATION OF PATIENT SUPPORT GROUPS AND AWARENESS OF THIS RARE DISEASE AMONGST THE APPROPRIATE INFLUENTIAL INSTITUTIONS, AUTHORITIES AND DECISION-MAKING BODIES, AND TO PROVIDE THEM WITH DETAILED INFORMATION ABOUT BEHÇET’S DISEASE.
