On our behalf, Shepherds Heart Israel continues to provide counselling services in the Middle East and elsewhere around the world to traumatised, needy and hurting peoples. Because of the Covid pandemic much has taken place virtually online or over the phone but our team were also invited to operate in the Netherlands this year. Pastoral support for Messianic leaders has also continued, as has support for immigrating Jews, including time spent on the Ukraine/Polish border assisting evacuees.
Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit)
Project Deborah continues its poverty relief work with Ethiopian Jews in and around Jerusalem. Craftwork centres provide employment and income support opportunities with training in making these activities self-supporting. A website has been established for marketing the created goods. The establishment of an immigrant centre for Ethiopian Jews in the south of the country is making some progress.
Watchmen from Jerusalem, an educational and information ministry, has continued providing a speaker at lectures, seminars, conferences, etc. around the world plus books and newsletters on the subject of Israel and the Bible. During lockdown these activities have moved online.
Repairing the Breach, a reconciliation ministry, continued using our administration services during 2021/22. They seek to improve relations between Britain, Europe and Israel, involving Holocaust survivors in sharing their experiences of treatment by the British authorities under the Mandate and during WWII. This year there have again been efforts to improve German/Israeli relationships; also involved in online prayer with prayer partners in the UK and Israel. Attendance has taken place at several holocaust memorial events.

Section D Achievements and performance
Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year
Due to the pandemic, our funding streams have been adversely affected during the year but we have been able to maintain our level of activities by utilising some of our reserves. Project Deborah continues to expand its poverty relief activities due to increased need and continues to progress the establishment of a self-operated business structure for its craft work centres and establishment of a residential settlement for immigrants. Watchmen from Jerusalem continues to provide keynote speakers at lectures, seminars and conference around the world and the provision of regular information through distribution of its newsletters.
Repairing the Breach held events in Israel with Holocaust victims sharing their experiences.
