On our behalf Shepherd’s Heart Ministries Israel continues to
provide counselling services in the Middle East and elsewhere
around the world, to traumitised, needy and hurting peoples.
This year due to theCovid pandemic our sphere of infuence has
been restricted to the Middle east. Our pastoral support for
Messianic leaders has also continued. During the year
counselling services were undertaken for Jewish and Palestinian
Arab children at the ITAC Anglican School in Jerusalem and to
immigrant Jews via EEF’s Jerusalem ofce. Counselling services
continued online and over the phone due to the pandemic
lockdown.
Project Deborah, an afliated ministry supporting Ethiopian Jews
has continued to provide poverty relief, principally in the
Jerusalem area. The craft work centres continue to provide
employment and income opportunities and further progress is
being made in establishing these as a self-operated business. A
new website is under progress to market the craftwork. A new
project still under consideration is the establishment of a
settlement for immigrant Ethiopian Jews in the south of Israel.
Watchmen from Jerusalem, an educational and information
ministry, has continued providing a speaker at lectures,
seminars, conferences, etc. around the world plus books and
newsletters on the subject of Israel and the Bible. During
lockdown these activities have moved online.
Repairing the Breach, a reconciliation ministry, continued using
our administration services during 2021. They seek to improve
relations between Britain, Europe and Israel, involving Holocaust
survivors in sharing their experiences of treatment by the British
authorities under the Mandate and during WWII. This year
there have again been eforts to improve German/Israeli
relationships; alsoinvolved in online prayer with prayer
partners in the UK and Israel. Prepared two educational
and prayer calls with March of Life regarding the White
Paper of 1939 and the Peel Commission of 1938.
Worked with Love Never Fails preparing a webinar
regarding the centenary of the San Remo Treaty and a
webinar for the 80th anniversary of the Patria.
Distributed gifts to survivors of the Patria ship and visited
them in their homes.
