## **`Objectives and aims`**

CharityforKids'objectivesaretopromoteandfurtherthecareandreliefofchildren,whoarestillinfulltimeeducation, who
haveaterminalillnessorwhoaresufferingfromalifethreateningmedicalconditionandinparticularbygranting feasible
wishes of such children.

Toalsorelievetheneedsofchildrenwithaseveredisabilityorimpairmentoranydisabilitythatimmobilisesachild by
providing such facilities, equipment and services that are over and above those which the local authorities provide.

ThetrusteesconfirmthattheyhavereferredtotheguidancecontainedintheCharityCommissiongeneralguidanceon public
benefit when reviewing the Charity's aims and objectives.

CharityforKidswassetupbyPaulHarris,Paulwasstuckinarutofdrinking,smokingalongwithapoordiet,togetfit Paul
enteredtheHastingsHalfMarathonanddecidedtoraisefundstomakeadifferencetothelivesofpoorlychildren throughout
the local community.

throughfundraisingevents,oursocialmediapagesi.eFacebook,Twitterandviaourownwebsite.Wecontinue to
encourage new members through our regular correspondence letters which go out to local businesses and supporters.

Inthepast12monthsCharityforKidshascontinuedattendingseveraleventstopublicisethecharityincludingtwo local
Christmasevents.Thisenabledustomarketthecharitytothelocalcommunitywhichcontinuestohelparangeofchildren in
the Hastings & Rother area.

Fundraisingplaysakeypartofthecharityandthroughouttheyearhasseenawiderangeofsupportfromlocal businesses
andindividualsthathasenabledustosupportapplicationsforspecialistequipmentnotavailablefromtheNHS, including
buggies, adaptive clothing and medical equipment.
```

Finallyourannualcalendarshavecontinuedtobeabigsuccess,enablingspecialistequipmenttobepurchasedsupporting a
local family within their home. Our thanks to JTP photography for their continued support.

Welookforwardto2025andtheexcitingchallengesandopportunitiesplannedenablingustosupporthecommunity we
serve.
