We are pl88sed wilh Ihe amount of funds rabed thls year which, includw)g interest blrt after
fundraising costs. lotsled almost £44,0(K). Vthilst thi5 t5 significanlty lower than th8 pr8VIOUS
year. thig is only because of a large. arKI very generous. legacy donation of £80.000 which the
Foundation was very grateful trj receNe in the Pf8VK)us year. Aside that donation, income is
up by approxtmatety £10.c￿ compared lo the prewus year. which we are delighted with.
The Trustees are extreN*ty grateful to the many supwters who have contrityjted to our
fUndrais￿g efforts ￿ var￿5 way5 over the past years and those who conlinu8d lo supF4Jrt
s via donations.
We were ddighted to make 8 paymenl of a further £58.062 during the year lo the Institute of
Cancer Research. continuing our exeitiThJ partnership in support of researth rsto paediatric
brain lumours. in line with one of our central obieclives. The trustees are 8￿￿ted by the
potential of this researth and look lorward to rewting on ils progress.
The grant payment in the currwtt year exceeds thi8 year's UKX)me resultiThJ in an overall def￿11
of £17,708 foliow#w the Lqrge surplus in the previous year.
