(Germany) supported by the Cultural Brfdge programme. This parfnersh5p explored dlsgbled-led
practice 2nd contributed lo the co-crealion of a new movement language, supporting 6 learning
disabled artists to develop their Iransnalional artistry.
Produced and distribuled Bloodsuckers, a new dance film by Lea Anderson MBE reimagining our
theatre work, reaching 80,000 viewers on premiere and positively influendng perceptions of disability
among audlences and creative praclilioners. Subsequenlly programmed in Rugby. Coventry Library.

Delivered our national engagemant programme of participatory classes, cammunily workshops,
schools experlenees, inclusivity training and summer prolecls, reachino 1,562 individuals across
L8icesler, Banbuiy, London, Warwickshire, Leeds, Oxford, Burlon upon Trenl, Nolllngham, Derby and
Coventry.
Dellvered Culture for Change. a new project promoting the I'lghls, visibility, and opportunities of
P80ple with learnlng dlsabililies. Th& initiative included e one-day evenl engaglng 53 professionals
from heallh, soclal care, disability, and cultural sectors, alongside Ihe release tsf four podcasl
eplsodes featuring expèrt conversations in these fie5ds.
Facililal8d creative research into dgv8loplng mid-career inillalives, working with company dancer
Nlck McKerrow lo explore new ways of presenling lived exp6ri&nce through performance. aulhenlic
disabilily-led pr8¢1ice, and challenging who has Ihe cfftalive ownership. This has inclLAded
collaborallons with FABRIC, Gary Clarke and Rachel Liggitl and resulted in Nick creating a powerful
Autobiographical solo work.

Creation will also begin for a new indoor touring commission. with the main company collaborating
with a high-prolile choreographer lo produce an innovative work cenlred on lived experienc6 8nd
human connecllon.
Anjali will continue lo invest In Sls artlsts. supportlng Ihelr Indlvldual career ambitions and lead8rshlp
development. Thls Inclltdes Nlck's creallon of a professlonal solo work, Daisys expansion of
consullar)cy expertise, Lauren's development of her independent leaching practice, and Liam and
Hollsls gr0￿h In choreographlc and delivery skills.
As demand for Anjali's expertise grows, we will lormalise IralnSng programmès for businesses,

Trustees are aware of the Chairties SORP and accept the reouiremenl, in relation to all aspects of
their work, for regular assessment of oporaling slrenglhs and weaknesses. To this end, the iisk
management strategy comprises an annual review of Ihe risks which Ihe charity may face,, the
establishment of procedures to miligale Ihose iisks Idenllfied.. and the implemenlalion of procdures
designed to minimlse any potential impact on the charity should any of those risks maleralise.
The senior leadorship and governance team undertake regular and robust business risk assessments,

The charity opted lo early adopt Bulletin I published on 2 February 2016 and have therefore not

probable s8lllemenl is required and the amounl can be measured reliably. All costs are allocated lo
the applicabl8 expendilure heading Ihal aggreuale similar costs lo that category. Where costs cannot
be direclly allribuled lo particular headings they have been alloc8led on a basls con8islent with the
use of resources, with ceiilral stall Gusts allocated on the basis of lime spent, and depreciation
charges allocated on the portion of the asset's use. other suppori costs 8re allocated based on the
sprearl of staff costs.

Supprjrt cos18 include central functions and have been allocal8d lo activity cost categories on a basls
car)8islenl with the use of resources. for oxample, allocating property costs by floor areas, or per
capita. staff costs by the lime spent and other costs by Iheir usage.
Gov8rnmant grants
Government grants are iecogniqgd bas&d on the accrual model and are measured at tho fair value of
the asset received or receivable. Grants are classified as relallng either lo revonue or lo assets.
Granls relallng lo revgnue are recognised in income over the perlod In which the related cost8 are
recognised. Grants relallng lo a8sels are recognised over the expected useful life of the asset. Whel'8
part of 2 grant relating to an asset is delerred, il is recognlsed as deferred income.
Taxatlon
The charity is considered lo pas8 the tesls sel out In Paragraph 1 Schedule 6 of the Finance Act 2010
and therefore il meets tho definition of a charitable company for UK corporation lax purposeg.
Accordingly, the Charity Is potentially exempl from lax81ion in respect of income or Gapilal g2ins
received within categorie8 Covered by Chapter 3 Part 11 of the Corporation Tax Act 2010 or Secllon
256 of the Taxation of Chargèable Galns Act 1992, to the 8xlenl th81 such income or gains are

Trade debtors
Trade debtors are amounts due from customers for merchandise sold or seNices performed in the
ordinary course of business.
Trade debtors are recognised inilially al the Iransaclion price. They are subsequently measured at
amortlsed cosl uslng the effective inleresl meihod, less provision for impairment. A provision for the
Impairment of trade deblors is established when there is objective evidence that the charity will not be
able to collect all amounts dLJe accordlng to the original lermts of the receivables.
Cash and cash equlvalents
Cash and cash equivalents comprise cash on hand and call deposits, and olher short-lerm hlghly
I￿Ul￿ investments Ihal are readily convertible to a known amount of cash arbd are subject lo an
insignificant risk of change in value.
Trade creditors
Trade ¢redilors are obligations to pay for goods or seNices that have been acquired in the ordinary
course of business from suppliers. Accounts payable ara classified as current liabilities if the charily
does not hav8 an unconditional right, al the end of the reporting p8riod, to defer selllement of the
creditor for al least twelve months after the reporting dale. If there is an unconditional rlqhl lo defer
selllemenl for at least twelve months aller the reporting dale, Ihey are presented as nonwcurrenl
Ilabililies.
