Achievements and Performance
SORP reference
Over the years, Al Noor Medical Trust has
made significant strides in fulfilling its
mission lo improve the health and well-
being of those in need, particularly through
its cataract surgery programme. The
charity has grown substanlially in both
capacity and reach, and has successfully
delivered over 100 free cataract operations,
restoring sight and significantly improving
the quality of life for many beneficiaries
who would otherwise have been unable to
access such treatment.
Summary of the main
achievements of the charity,
identifying the difference the
charity's work has made to
the circumstances of its
beneficiaries and any wider
benefits to society as a
whole.
Para 1.20
In response to growing demand for
services, the Trust has continued to
strengthen its operations. Investment in
adVan￿d medical equipment has enabled
the charity to provide more comprehensive
and effective care, allowing a greater
number of patients to receive timely
diagnosis and treatment for eye conditions
and general medical concerns. As a result,
more people are now accessing the Trust's
services for both e
e care and wider

medical consultations than in previous
years.
During the year, the charity further
enhan￿d accessibility to its services
through the purchase of an ambulance,
enabling outreach to individuals who are
unable lo attend the clinic due lo distance,
mobility issues, or poor health. This has
ensured that the most vulnerable members
of the community are not excluded from
receiving essential medical care.
The Trust has also conlinued to provide
medical equipment free of charge to those
in need, removing financial barriers for
individuals who require ongoing support to
manage their health conditions. In addition,
recognising the wider challenges faced by
disadvantaged families, the charity has
expanded its support by distributing food
ration packs to those most in need, helping
to address food insecurity alongside health
needs.
Overall, Al Noor Medical Trust has become
stronger and more effective during the
year, continuing to support an increasing
number of beneficiaries and responding to
rising demand for its seNices. The impact
of the charity's work extends beyond
individual beneficiaries, contributing to
improved public health, reduced inequality
in access to healthcare, and stronger, more
resilient communities. By restoring sight,
improving health outcomes, and providing
essential support, the Trust delivers lasting
benefit5 both to individuals and to society
as a whole.
