At the end of August, twenty-one of these children left us to move on to seven different primary schools. The Nursery continues to thrive, with sessions already being booked for September 2025 and September 2026. Most of the income is now through Extended Early Years Funding as the Government continues to roll out funding for working parents. Once again, the main expenditure was on Nursery Staff Wages and rent of the premises, along with cleaning equipment & PPE, training, DBS checks, insurance, Ofsted, telephone/Broadband and subscriptions to our online Learning Journal system and membership of NDNA. This year has seen some staff changes and two members of staff have left us for a change of career, and two new staff members have joined us.
