Rev1￿ of th• Year 2024-2025
We celebrated the 10th anniversary of our acquisttlon of Moor Pool Hall and the associated
¢ommunty assets on 21st December 2024. It Is amazlng how tlme has flown. In a serSe$ of news
releases and social media posts, we have p8miitted ourselves a brief look back through the years,
focusing on some of tha key events and personalitles who hav& helped us move so far forward and so
quickly. We have also reflected on the many developm&nts over the 10 years, such as the h¥0 new
kilchons, the Cadess Ecology Centre, the completlon of the jlgsaw with the acquisition of the Estate
Office and the recognrtlon received through th? Queen's Award for Voluntary Service.
There wfll be no to stand still, however. 2024125 was a very busy year encompasslng a very full
range of activities and ￿lsIderab￿ maSntenance expenditure. A hlghlighl has been the opening of
the new disabled ramp to thè Hall, funded by a grant from the Willkm A Cadbury Charitable Tnjst and
by the fundraising and donallons of our local community. W18 have continued with the unglamorous
but very necessary work on dralnage, roofing, electrics and ￿UmbIng.
We are In the process of commlsslonlng a strategic optlons appralsal, helping us to chart a
sustalnable strategy for the next 10 years.

Greon Space8
We have continued wlth the programme of yearty tree maintenance as recommended In the 2021
Independent tree survey. The recommendation for 2024125 entailed the removal ol four very
signifi¢ant Brack Poplar trees from the boundary of Park Edge and the Moor Pool on safety grounds.
