Our responsibilities for the audit olthe fihantial ￿atements
We have been app¢inted as audiiors under Sertion 144 of the Charities Acr 2011 and reporr in accordantr with theArtand relevant
regulations made or having elfed thereunder.
Our objectives are to obtain reasonable assurance aF*)ur whether the financial sraremenrs as a whole are free from matenal
misstatement, whether due to fraud or error, and to 155ue a Report ol the Independent Auditor5 that includes our opinion.
Reasonable assurance is a high level of assurance. but is not a guaraniee ihar an audii condurted in accordance wilh 15As IUKI will
always detect a material rnisstatement when it exi5tk Misstatements can arise from fraud or error and are considered material if,
individually or in the aggregate, they could reasonabty be expected to influence the econornic dec15ions of users taken on the bas15
of these financial 5tatement5.
Irre8ularitie5, including fraud, are instances of non-cornpliance with laws and re8ulation5. We design procedures in line with our
re5pon5ibilities, outlined above, to detect material mi55tatement5 in re5pectof irregularities inrludin8fraud. The extent to which our
procedures are capable of detecting irregularities, includingfraud. is detailed bek)w.
We identified area5 of law5 and re8ulation5 that could reasonably be expp£ted to have a material effett on the financlal statements
from our general comfflercial and 5eitor experience, through di5CUSSlOll Wlth the directors and other management la5 required bv
audltln8 Standardsl, and ITOM inspedion of the chariws Tegulatory and legal iorre5pondente 3nd dixu$5ed with the directors and
other management the polities and pr¢xedures regarding Compliance with laws and re8ulatlons. We communltated Identlfled laws
and re8ulations throughout our team and remained alert to any indicatths of non-tompliante throughout the audit.
The potential effect of these laws and reeulationson the financial statements varies£ot)slderai4v.
Firstly, the charity IS subject to law5 and reÉulations rhat directly a￿e¢l ihe financial statements Includlng financlal reporting
we a55e5sed the extent of compliance wth these laws and regulations as part of our procedure5 the related financial statement
Items.
OwSng to the inherent linTritatlons of an audlt. there Is a ris* that we will not detect all irreiularltles. including those leadlng to i
material mlsst3tement In the financial statements or non-compliènce wilh re8ulation. This risk Increases the more rhat compliance
with a13w or regularion Is removed from the events andtransxrions reftected in the financial 5tarements, aswe wlll be le55 likely to
become aware of instances of non-com￿SanCt. The nsk Is a150 grearer re8ardin8 irregularities occurrin8 due to fraud rather than
