KDP fouNDA TION is a not-for-profit organisation with a
governing constitutional document. Membership is open to women,
men and young people living and working in the area of benefit and
who support the interests ot.the charity.
Management ofthe affairs of the charity is directed by a management
commitlee which meets twice a yLar. The charity may appoint and
determinc the appointment of a trustee who is not a member of thc
management committee, for the purpose of managing7 the projects for
the charily. Trustees are chosen trom persons who have requisite
skills in rnanagingy finances and govemmenl.

OBJF.CI IVES AND ACTIVITIES
To promote the prevention of, and the allevialion of, sickness and the
improvemLnt of hcalth especially diseases relating to the eyes, of the
local rural populalion.
To treat blindness duL to eye diseases such as cataracts.
To also promote education (including social, religious and physical
training) of people under the agc of 25 years in India by trying lo
establish and maintain educational establishment. To providc relief
from educational under-achievement, social and/or economic
disadvantage and to ensure wider access lo youth provision and
related activities to advance aspirations and raise achievement levels
of children of all ages. In particular, to provide opportunities for the
aforementioned beneficiaries to participate full)r in the life oftheir
communily in ways which address and alleviate social and economic
exclusion and disadvantage of all children especially those excluded
communitics.
THE MAIN ACTIVITIES
The charity was established in 2012 and has worked since, towards
the preparations required to set up high class health care and
education.
Due to the Pandemic much of the routine work had to be suspended.
The KDP Foundalion has provided financial support for several
patients in the village Doddagubbi. The Foundation has also
supported charitics like AIR Humanitarian Homes and provided
helping hands with Vaccination and supply of food essentials.

In addition, duringy Ihe lockdown KDP funded home tutoringJ, online
ducational activities lor school children from poor households.
Further expansions of services are planned for Ihe next year such as:
l . To build brand new theatre suite on thL 2. floor - future project
2. Auto-retractor equipmenl purchase still pending.

"rhL Statemcnt of financial Activities shows a net deficit of £1 ,434
t.or the yLar and accumulated reserves at 31 March 2024 amount to
£-545.
The trustces have reviewed the reserves ot.the charity and found them
salisfaclory tor thL tinancial year ended 31 March 2025.

Trustees are rcquired by charity law to prcpare financial statements
for cach financial year ivhich gyives a true and fair view of the slate of
affairs of the charity a5 at the end of the financial year and of the
surplus or deficit of the charity. In preparing those financial
statements the Board is required to:_
Select suitable accounting policics and then apply them
consistently;
Make judgements and estimates that are reasonable and
prudent.
Prepare the financial statements on a going concern basis
unless it l inappropriate to presume that the charity will
continue in business
State whether applicable accounting standards and statcments
of recommended practice have been followed.
The Irustees are also responsible for maintaining proper accounting
records which disclose with reasonable accuracy at any time the
financial position if the charity. They are also responsible for
safcguarding the assets of the charity and hcnce taking reasonable
steps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities.

l. l Basis of preparation of accounts:
The financial Statements are prcpared under the purpose scopL and
applicalion of SORP FRS 102.
SORP 60 slates accounts intending to show a true and fair view must
be prLpared on the goinLY concern assumplion.
SORP 61 states in meeting the obligation to prepare accounts showing
a true and fair vieiv accruals accounts should complv with:
(a) Statements of Standard Accounting Practice (SSAPS)
(b) Financial Reporting Standards (FRPS)
(c) Urgent Issue Task Force abstracts (UITFS)
and in addition take note of
(d) The interpretation for Public Benefit Entities of the

We report on Ihe accounts of KDP Foundation for the ycar cnded 31
March 2023, which are set out on pages 5 to 8.
RESPF.CTIVE Rf.SPONSIBILITIES OF TRUSTEES AND EXAMINER
Thc charity's trustees are responsible for the preparation of thc
accounts and consider that an indepcndcnt examination is required.
It is our responsibility to:
examine Ihe accounts under section 145 of the 201 l Act
to tollow the procedures laid down in Ihe General Directions given
by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the 201 l Act.
and
to state whciher particular matters have come to our attention.
BASIS OF INDEPENDENT EXAMINER'S REPORT
Our examination was carried out in accordance with the General
DireLlion given by the Charity Commission. An examination includes
a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a
comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also
inLludes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the
accounts, and seeking explanations from you as trustees concerning
any such matters. I"hc procedures undertaken do not provide all the
evidcncc that would be required in an audit, and consequently we do
not express an audit opinion on the view given by the accounts.
