Funding
One ol the rnain reasons we have been ab18 to SLJStain ourselves is b8CaLJSe we do not
¥ely on a single source of Yunding. We have multiple sources ol funding includ5ng grants.
local authDrity funding, fundraisers and donations. As a result, we are in a better position
to survive periods where funding is being cut. Local businesses organise events to raise
funds for us. So far, our Local Council has been our most reliable and long-terrn lunder.
We appreciate this. Their SLJPPOrt has encouraged many external lunders to sponsor LJS.
Respoiisible working
We believe In responsible provision ol support. We promote Inclusivity and have a div8rsè
profile of m8mbers we support bul arè carelLJI to ensure that thè 5UPPOrt given is tailored to
the individual needs and background such as gender, religion, culture, age and beliefs.
This means we are better able to support individuals as the seNice we provide is tailored
to them. We do not adopt a blanket approach to everyone, as one approach may not be
appropriate for all.
We try to Greate a space whero individuals can feel safe and comfortable. As a r8suIt. we
have built a strong reputation amongst our service users, with many of our users attending
long term or others joining as volunteers or even donating to our organisation to the benefit
they have derived from our work. In fact. many of OUT volunteers sornetirNes work beyond
their contraGled hours due to their passion lor the work we do.

that we signpost clEnls to. the Bradlord Council, Anah Proiéci (for tÈmporary

signpost to one another. This has meani that wt can provide tnore 1K)l￿tIC support to ow
community and have a wider reach.
This has aL80 hdp8d boost communrty relations and awareness for campaigns indudin9
