ABOUT THE THEME FOR THE YEAR:
The report is a compilation of selected pictures of our activities over the years, showing what we have been doing- our outputs.
What the pictures show includes the following:
-
that we are a multi-cultural and multi-religious organisation.
-
that we are a community-based and family-support organisation.
-
that we embrace various communities and groups.
-
that we collaborate with many stakeholders, including other charities, the Police NHS, the Council etc.
-
that children and young people are at the heart of our charity.
-
that we take employment and employability keenly.
-
that health and wellbeing of vulnerable people is paramount to us.
-
that we use small available resources, including office space, to achieve our aims.
-
that we celebrate people’s contributions to the community.
-
that we embrace people with physical and learning disabilities.
Going through the pictures, you will learn a lot about our charity. The images will tell you what we might not be able to capture. In summary, PEACEMAKER INTERNATIONAL PROJECT is a community-based family-support organisation that gives a solid foundation to a wide range of selfhelp/capacity-building activities for vulnerable people, including the elderly, unemployed, and people with disabilities.
WHY IMAGERY?
-
We intend to connect people to the senses of what we do.
-
To unlock our readers’ memory of what we did in the past.
-
To appeal to people’s senses about what they expect.
Images are much more effective than texts as they are attractive and quicker to grasp and likely stick in the memory longer.
