The charity is governed by the Deed of union (1932) and the Meth(xiist Church Act
(1976) adopted 20. Septemkr 1932
During the year the Church has continued to bring the Love of Christ to all
The work of the church h&s conlinued in the following ways:_
Provision of regular public acts of worthip open to members of the Church and
also to non Memb￿3.
Provision of sacred space for prayer and conteTnplation
Teaching Christiantty through sernions. courses and small groups
Pastoral worL including visiling the si¢k at home and in hospital. also the elderly
and kneaved at home or in residential care in accordance with regulations using
Zoom and WhatsApp &s appmpriate.
Community Tuesdays continuc TLC (fe4 Laughter and Chat) takes place every
other Tuesday alternating with Bread Church.
A holiday club has been held weekly during certain school holiday periods for
primary-aged children and their fatnilies.
Providing specia] services for all &s requested. for weddings. thanksgivings,
funerals or other requests. Both sites are registered for same sex maTriages.
Supporting local Church and Charity iDitiative& Including the local fo(Kl bank as
well as National Charity appeals.
The buildings are also used by the local conllnunity for various activities.
Wanvick Methodist Church is part of Churches Together in Warwick.
From I September2024 Whitnash Methodist Church h&8 been merg¢d with
Winck Meihodist Church under Slanding Orders 605A(2-8) and 942(1).
Whilnash M¢thodist Church continues to worship on th¢ Whitnash site despite the
lower nurnbcrs attending, with Messy Church and a lunch club knth monthly and
a Warni Hub on Thursdays. The premises are being used by many local activities.
Including uniforn]ed organi7ations and a before & after school activity.
Warwick Meth¢Jdist Church is providing administration support for Whitnash
with funds being merged.
The financial position of the Church is considered to be satisfactory with the major
quarterly payment being covered by offerings, gift aid receipts and reserves.
