Governing document:
South Bedford 151amic Cultural Centre was constituted as a non-profitable Trust and
registered with the charity commission in June 2012 under the charity number 1147899. It is
governed by standard Memorandum & Articles of Association.

benefits. The committee meet together as a body at least 4 time a year or as when
necessary and are responsible for all decision taken in relation to running the charity.
Rlsk management:
The Trustees always perform risk assessments for all of the activities they run and put in
place appropriate measures to deal with any risks. Appropriate Disclosure and Barring
Service IDBSI checks are carried out on all volunteerslstaff who have access to children.
Achievements and Performance:
During the year the charity has been able to continue its SUPPOrt for educational classes, which
provide facilities for around 100 children.
Financial Review:
During the year the charity received £75,441.00 by the way of public donations, Qarz e H35ana and
fee5 from religious classes. The net movement of funds show a Surplus of £57,654.00 which has been
added to the reserves.
South Bedford Islamic Cullural Centfe- 1147899

The Trustees believe that the charity should hold financial reserve5 because it 15 mostly dependent
on its income from local worshipper5. As these funds may be subject to fluctuation from time to
time the Trustees have decided to Set 3 level of reserves which equate in value to approximately 6
months expenditure which the Trustees have estimated will be approximately £30,000 primarily
used for ongoing current activities such as staff ing cost5 of the organisation and further
improvement5 in relation to the sites building works and maintenance Costs. In view that the
purpose of the reserves IS to meet immediate shortfalls in funding, the Trustee5 have decided that it
is appropriate that the reserves shown in the balance sheet are represented by funds held in short
term deposits and current bank accounts.
The Trustees have considered the most appropriate policy for investing funds and have reviewed
ways in generating income and capital growth to meet their requirements.

Independent Examiners Report to the Trustees of
RESPEcfivE RESPONSIBILITIES OF TRUSTEES AND EXAMINER
The charit¢5 trustee consider that an audit is not required for this year (under section 43121
of the Charities Act 1993 (the Act) and that an independent examination is needed.
It is my responsibility to
examine the accounts (under section 43 of the Act)
to follow the procedures laid down in the General Directions given by the charity
commissionlunder section 4317llbl of the Act), and
to state whether particular matters have come to my attention.
BASIS OF INDEPENDENT EXAMINER'S STATEMENT
Accurate Acc Ltd was appointed as the charitable company's independent examiner. My
examination was carried out in accordance with general Direction given by the charity
commission. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charitv
and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It is also includes
consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations
from the trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide
all the evidence that would be required in an audit. and consequently I do not express an
audit opinion on the accounts.
INDEPENDENT EXAMINER'S STATEMENT
In the course of my examination, no matter has come to my attention,
which gives me reasonable cause to believe that in, any material respect the trustees
have not met the requirements to ensure that:

.accounts are prepared which agree with the accounting records and comply with the
accounting requirements of the Act,. or
2. To which, in my opinion, attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper
