VWilst battling an inoperat4e brain tumour. Harry was in¥ired lo make a drference to people with brain
when a lriend of his, who also had a brain iumow, became very ill. Wrthin the space of just over years, Harry
had organised and attended nearfy 100 events to raisè money for and raise awareness of bran o)￿r. He totKhed
the hearts of the nation Mih his eflorts and helped ¢h8nge the INes of everyone ￿ n*.
Sadly. Har￿S health look 8 SUt1den turn for the worse follow.ng brain surgery in August 2011. On the 8th Othb
2011 and after 14 weeks in a cJJffl8. Hary passed away peacefuly at home in his mom's atms.
Harrfs work had tou¢h9d $0 many lives. that Hdp Harry Help Others (HHF￿}} was set up ￿ order lo ¢ary on his
vision to rnake 8 differèn￿ to all peoFAe that suffer with brain tumour5.

Operational Chalgnges: This year has sean the Introducti￿ of an Operalions Dire(*or rc4e vthich aimed lo allow
the Founder to concentrate fvrther on funding and fiJndraI￿ng oppowturNi*s. and to devdop the opèrational side of
HHHO. 2024 saw a ¢omplele new tsperalional team within HHHO followng the departure of our Office and finarKe
manager in Apn"l. ￿lIst a positsv0 step foThMrds wth a new structure. (( also Iwht new chalenges. It also meant
the introdUct￿n of more formalised objective5, meant are staff de8r in their fole$ and expectatifxls when
worknng for HHHO. MO￿ recenuy. fvrtheT Staff changes arKI the departure of tl¥ee key roles within HHHO have led
to us re-evaluating the staffing needs ofthe chartty and am the systems and procedures behiTrJ the scenes to ensure
we are in a better posiiK*n to move fo￿ardS during 2025.

Il¥Jse affected by ¢ancer. Financially, we di51ribuled signfficant fund5 through our HelpCURE, HelpCOPE. and
HelpCARE objectives including our last donal1c￿ as part of our three year ￿MMit￿￿￿t lo lund a PhD studÈnt whth
saw £12.133 donated via HelpCURE, £2.577donated v¢ our HdpCOPE fund lgmng grants to famli suffering
financial hardship as a resum of 8 ¢an¢er diagnosis). and £63,081 via HdpCARE (Our Drop In CwKer s￿¢￿t
Centrel. 2024 saw an addibonal 235 peopig rogistering for 5UPPOrt via wr S￿￿ceS.
Aftar last year's sU￿esSful launth of the partnership ￿th NHS TLHC Lung Heallh Check progrdmm, we haNE
continued hosting this service on ste. From lalesl $tats received Sept 24 4,928 initial scans were wducted
1213 fdl¢)w up seans bgin9 perfomied. From these Sf2ns 42 people wwe diagnosed with lung cancer $tag& l & 2.
8 people were diagnosod with lung canc*r stage 3 and 4. There were also several othar condrtions diagnosed from
the screening on sile induding 25 breast lumps referred for further In￿S1•*in.
HHHO has partnered wth Family A¢tion in the ddivery of a Lrfe Skills Course called Stepy'ng Slor*. Thi5 SiX•week
proyramme was eKperty delivered by Famity A¢tion and offe￿d HHHO servic6 users the chance to learn about
skllls and tèchniquès with the primary aim of returning lo work, volunt¢&ring or education after the* or a bved one's
cancer diagnosis. The course proved very pop￿ar and even led to att￿deeS to get fuTrJwig from Bardays to gel
further qualrficalions helping them further in their lo r9turn io wor
After gaining fvnding from MacmilLan, Help Harry Help Others has started the Heolth Inewa1th5 prqed. The aims

experiences and discuss Imng wilh a stowna. We also hosted breast c4nc*r specik support sesrAons in parlnership
wth Breast F￿endS Solihull.
HHHO'S provided group 8upervision for a number of ctsunsevn￿ and siudwts along with nLmemus CPD Sess￿
lo hetp Invo￿ the ojunselling seivic* at HHHO.
