Ba￿FIah (Open Door in Arabic) is a wpport 8ervic8 foi isolated Muslirn wom8n and children. some of whom are refugees and asylum seekers, offering I￿ltUF81ty relevant opportunrties to ffleet others and gain sUPPOrt. The project currenfly engages with up to 100 wcmèn èaeh month. Each year we provide lunch on Christmas Day to those who are lonely. isolated or in pov8ty. The event has become a regular feature on the Imagine If calendar and we are working closely wilh local organisations lo take refe￿alS and support Ihose who would otherwise be on their at Christmas. In partnership with the national charity Safe Families for Child18n, Family Matters provides intensive volunte8f support to vulnerable familles who are referred to us by social workws. The Stève Morgan Foundation has agreed to fund this work for the next five years.
