The Ambassador Progratnme. The ATntk55ador programme is 3n opportunity for anyone in abstinence-based recovery to
become part of Ihe contracted and 5UtKoniratted seNces as a Msible recovery r(tJe model. The programme includes a bespoke
level 2 OCN accredited qualificèrion Ihèr underpins the role of an Ambassador.

As members ofthe RecoveryConnecDons team, ourvolunreers8et invo￿0 in manyaspectsof ourwork. Opportunitie5 include
supporting the running of actniity and support groups. to suprx)rting our atjmiftistration and reception (eatn5. We strongly
believe volunieers add immense value to Recovery Connections and we welcome anyone who aligns kwth ourvalues and wants
to make a difference. Most of our voluntrers have acce55ed Recovery Connecrions. and mèny 80 on to become Ambassadors
and work for the organisation.
Across Ihe region we had 126 volunreers prO￿ding in person and online 5upw)rr conrributing 42S7 hour5 of support provided.
We employed 19 people who had completed the Ambassador programme.
Wewere re-assessed for Invesiors inVolvnteer5accTedrtaiion whichwe successfulty retaired. Volunieers reguiirty progress into
paid employment with Recovery ConnectiOn5. a legacywhich we are incredibty proud of.
We commenced the Investors in peop￿ assessment process anLI achieved a Si￿r accreditaiion.
Residential Rehab
Resideniial rehabilitation available for people ihat wsh to cornplete an inrense 6-month abstinence based prograrnrne. The

Recovery should be a reality for young people. and we work to fflobilise li bwihin educational settings. We are leading the way in
the development of support for students with addiction5 in education in Tee55ide and have Ireated a pioneering campus
recovery programme ai Teesside UnNersity. Middlesbrough College and Sunderland University.
In addition to on carnpus supporrwe have developed a UnNer5ity Recovery Friendly CatnPU5 pledge. Recovery Al￿trainIn8 and
an online student focussed platform.

We employ two specialist staff delwering cross-seNce counsellins Peer-led Trauma supporL eduiation, bereavement groups
and resilience programmes.

We have developed a model to support organisations be more Infor￿ed around addittK)r* and Ihe impact it can h3ve on
employees and the organisation. Wilhin that we have 3150 developed a tnodel ofsupport for employees that will preveni them
from putting their employmeni and employer 3t risk. This has been commissioned ty one of Teessides largest providers and

The charity constitures a public benefit entity as defined by FRS 102. The financial 5taietnents have been
prepared in aicordance with Accounting and Reporting by Chari¢ies". statement of Recommended Practice
applicable to charities preparing their accounts in accordance wilh the Financial Reporting Standard
applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland IFRS 1021 issued in October 2019, the Financi21 Reporting
Standard applicable in the Unl￿￿ Kingdom and Republii of Ireland IFRS 1021. the Charities Act 2011, the
Comp3niesAtt 2006 antl UK GeneraltyAccepted Practice a5 Itapplies from I lènuary 2019.
The financial siatements are prepared on a going concern basis under the his￿￿[al c05t converitiors.
