The Queen Elizabeth Prize for Engineering (QEPrize) is a biennial ?1million global engineering prize that rewards and celebrates engineers responsible for a ground-breaking innovation in engineering of global benefit to humanity. Through the prize, the QEPrize Foundation works to raise the public profile of engineering and to inspire and engage young people in engineering.

Objects: 3.1 To Advance And Promote Engineering In The United Kingdom And Around The World, Including By Promoting Research In The Field Of Engineering And The Dissemination And Application Of The Results Of Such Research For The Benefit Of The Public And By Encouraging Young People (And In Particular Young People In The United Kingdom) To Aspire To A Career In Engineering; And3.2 To Advance The Education Of The Public In The Subject Of Engineering;by Establishing, Awarding And Promoting A High-Profile And Internationally-Recognised Prize For Engineering To Be Known As "The Queen Elizabeth Prize For Engineering" And To Be Awarded To An Individual Or Group Of Individuals Responsible For A Ground-Breaking Advance In Engineering Which Has Created Significant International Public Benefit.
