The tnjstees delegate responsibility lor strategic recommendations on the work of the charity to an operations group
made up ol the chair, vice chalr and two other trustees. Operation group meetings are open for all trustees lo attend.
The operations group is directly supported by the senior employee and draws input as reqUI￿d from staff working on
consultancy basis and from partner oryani5alions. Recommendations from thi$ group are considered and agreed at lull
trustee meetings held 6 x per yeai. Delegated decision rnaking processes are captured wth the Govemance and
Scheme of Delegalion doujment which is reviewed on an annual basis.

and are eli9ible for independent examination. I report in respect of my examination of your charity's accounts as carried
out under section 145 of the Charities Act 2011 1.the 2011 ACVI. In carrying out my examination I have followed the
Directions given by the Charity Commission under Section 145151 Ibl of the 2011 Act.

that l am qualified to undertake the examination because l am a register8d m8mber of Institute of Chartered
Accountants in England and Wale5 which is ore of the listed bcxjies.
I have cornpleted my exarnination.
Evidence available to me was limited because inforrnation relating to Collaborative School Ltd $ share of the assets and
liabilities of the pension fund al the year end date was not obtained by the truste?s. As a result. Ihe adjustments and
disclosures required by FRS 102 could nol be incorporated into the account5. Had infomation been available in respect
of Collaborative SchoDI Ltd's share of the underlying assets and liabilitie5 of the scheme, an asset would have been
recognised on the fa¢e of the balance sheet along wth a corresponding pènsion reserve wthin funds. The standard a150
requires the current servlee costs, interest on scheme liabilities and expected return on scheme assets for the period to
be recognised in the statement of financial activitie5. Actuarial gains and losses in the period would have been disG105ed
in the slaternent ol total recogni5ed gains and ID$5es. A triennial actuarial valuation as at 31 March 2019 showEd that
the fund was in surplus, details of the valuation are disclosed in note 17 to the accounls.

The charty is a rnember of Wiltshire Pension Fund. The Scheme 15 a multi.employer Scherne. The Scheme has
previously been accounted ftir as bf it a dgfined contribution scheme on the grounds that trustees decided
that it would be too expensive and of limited benefit to users of the financial statements to obtain the valuation of
(he charitys share of scherne at the year end date. The trustees have therefoie continued to ac¢ounl for the
scheme on a defined contribution basis.

Trade and other debtors are re¢ognised at the settTernent amount due after any trade discount offered.

The charfty Is a membar of thè Wiltshirè Pènslon Fund. The Stherne is a mulliomployer scheme.
The charity ha5 not comrnissioned an actuarial valuation report at the year end date and ha5 therefore not
ncluded the year ond as88t and the disclo¥ure8 necessary to account for tho defined bonefit penslofi sch8rn8
undeT the normal reporting standards.
Th8 eharity has a tri8nnial actuarial valuation report as at 31 March 2019 and thls showed that Collaborative
Schools Ltd fund was in Surplus by e18.000 and consequently no babilty in respect of deficil payments needs to
b8 recogni8ed in the financial statements.
The ￿$t for the period was £23,64012019- £2S.2401. There were no outstandin9 or prepaid contribuboTrs at the
balance sheet date.
