Welcome
The Police Children's Charity exists to support donating Police Families across the United
Kingdom in times of need. It primarily supports and benefits children & young people
not only when parental bereauement occurs, but also in ill health retirement cases
where reduced income could haue a detrimental impart.
The Charity is constantly adapting to changes and the associated requlrements in the
policing world to ensure it is responsiue and remains a5 fit for purpose as it can be. From
January 2024 Police staff became eligible to sign up and access benefits meaning we are
a totally inclusive Charity. During 2024 the charity added a blrthday gront for school
children, odding to an already comprehensiue support package.
In my role as Chair over the lost seven years I have been humbled by the support and
assistance Lue haue been able to prouide for Police Families when they are in most need.
To remain fit for purpose, the Charity will continue to evolue and reflert the changing
world of policing.
Being unable to positively intervene because there was no donor in the family is both
frustrating and heart-breaking. Therefore. I would ask that awareness of what this
Charity prouides is promoted and would encourage all those eligible to consider
becoming a donor.
