**Objects:** TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC PARTICULARLY YOUNG PEOPLE ABOUT GREAT PUBLIC FIGURES WHO HAVE BY WORD THOUGHT OR DEED HELPED TO CHANGE THE COURSE OF BRITISH HISTORY AND TO ENCOURAGE AND PROMOTE AN INTEREST IN AND FURTHER KNOWLEDGE OF THEIR LIVES WORK PHILOSOPHY AND ACHIEVEMENTS AND TO PERPETUATE THEIR MEMORY BY SUCH EXCLUSIVELY CHARITABLE MEANS AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL FROM TIME TO TIME DECIDE

**Activities:** Arranges lectures, talks, discussions and other activities focusing on the lives of those public figures from British history as are chosen by the trustees and encourages schools and colleges to teach more about those public figures. Encourages the public, particularly the young, to take an interest in the process of government and encourages an interest in and participation in public life.
