Achievements and Performance
| SORP reference | ||
|---|---|---|
| Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the difference the charity’s work has made to the circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as a whole. |
Para 1.20 | The main achievement of the charity is to raise funds in order to pay for extra- curricular activities and events for all pupils - we have had a very successful year, raising almost £30K. For the first time we have invested in outside companies/people, asking them to run ‘workshops’ for the children and parents. These workshops range from Christmas wreath making to skateboarding classes. Also for the first time we are being asked to fund things for the school which would previously have been covered by the school’s budget which has now shrunk. The school community has largely benefitted from the increase in funds but to an extent the wider community too, as a lot of our events are open to non- school people. |
