Future Policy The Truste&s will keep the above policy undorregular rgvigw Volunteers The Foundation depends heavily upon the contribution of volunteers - their time, their expertise, their money. The day to day running of the Foundation is carried out on an entirely voluntary basis by the Trustees with the assistance of staff and office facilities generously provided by our Chairman, Mr A J Rizzo, al no cost to the Foundation. The annual Atemative Hair Show, currently the Foundation's main source of income, comprises a spectacular array of on-stage productions by hairdressing artistic teams Irom across the world who give their services entirely free of charge. "EVOLUTION". The 2024 Alternative Hair Show The Show was staged live at the ROUNDHOUSE London on Sunday 13 October 2024 and featured an exciting array of hairdressing talent from across the globe with the special added attraction of the VisionaryAwards. As atways. we are deeply grateful lo our loyal audience, our sponsors, and all who supported the Show in any way. Alas, due to continued rising costs and the uncertain tsmes the amount we were able lo generate for our charitable causes was again down on the previous year. Achlevements lor the year We made charitsble grants in the total sum of £46,637 across: the work of World Chlld Cancer towards the cost of lifesaving support for children with leukaemia In Bangladesh and Myanmar. the ground breaking research Developing rn0￿ effective and saler treatments for thildhood leukaemia'led by Prolessor Tariq Enver at UCL Cancer Institute under the aegis of Blood Can¢&r UK. A grant to The Chernobyl Rellel Foundatlon In the UK in r&sponse lo Iheii special appeal lor Ukranian children Publlc Benellt We are aware of the Charity Commission's public benefit guidelines and c￿sider that the work we have funded during the course of the year falls entirely within those guidelines. Flnanclal Review and Reserveg We do not grant or commit lunds beyond our actual financial resources. Our day to day running cosls are generously supported by our Chairman, Mr Rizzo and his business operation. The state of the Foundation's finances Is, therefore, sound. TO THE TRUSTEES OF THE ALTERNATIVE HAIR CHARITABLE FOUNDATION

I report on the accounts of the charity for the year ended 31 March 2025.

Respective responsibilities of trustees and examiner

The charity's trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. The charity's trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year under section 144(2) of the Charities Act 2011 (the 2011 Act) and that an independent examination is needed.

My examination was carried out in accordance with the general Directions given by the Charity Commission. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from you as trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts present a ‘true and fair view’ and the report is limited to those matters set out in the statement below.
