Activities
Our activities are to educate, encourage and transform the lives of young people who are vulnerable or at risk of offending or re-offending by a commitment to being part of the solution to safer communities and working partnership with school teachers, social workers, youth offending teams, probation officers, police officers, youth workers, prison officers and other organisations to reduce crime.
Objects: The Charity's Objects("objects")are Specifically Restricted To The Following: The Objects For Which The Company Is Established Are The Care, Resettlement And Rehabilitation Of Offenders But Not Exclusively:-[A] Persons Residing Or Temporarily Located In Prisons, Young Offenders Institutions Or Similar Establishments Or Discharged Offenders Who Have A Home Or Other Connection With, Or Who Are Anticipating Living In, The Greater London And Kent Area And Such Other Areas As The Council Shall, In Its Absolute Discretion, Think Fit By Enabling And Encouraging Such Persons Toreconsider Their Previous Behaviour And Thereby Cease Offending And Committing Crime[s].[b]persons And To Offer Guidance, Advice, Support And Instruction To Such Persons In Preparation For, And Upon, Their Discharge From Custody And To Encourage Such Persons So To Develop Their Physical, Mental And Creative Capacities That They May Grow To Full Maturity As Individuals And Become Respected And Valued Members Of Their Community At Large And Society In General So That Their Conditions Of Life May Be Improved By Their Own Deeds.[c] Persons In The General Community, Particularly The Young, Who Seek Help To Address Their Potentially Offending Behaviour [D]persons In The General Community, Particularly The Young, Who May Not, As Yet, Have Entered The Custodial System But Who May Be Serving Non-Custodial Sentences.
