Section D Achievements and performance Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year During the year the trust have managed lo raise over £74.500 with Ihe help of our spiritual leaders. All the funds were donated to Shri Nityanand Swami Education Trust in India who has used these funds to build a nursery for poor children under the age of 5 which provides a free education to poor children. Funds have also used lowards mass marriage of poor, distribution of food, footwear. clothing to homeless people and care for eldety people as well as medical camp for poor people. During the year the trust also provided prosthetic limbs for differently- abled indrviduals. offering them a renewed sense of freedom and confidence. In a effort to empower widows and divorced women. trust has distributed 336 sewing machines, offering them a pathway to sustainable income.. Empowering mobilty and independence. trust extends a heartfelt iniliative by distributing hand operated Iricycles to individual unable to use prosthetics and also provided 5,700 walking sticks to elderty individuals.
