Objects: The Objects Of The Charity Are The Advancement, Furtherance And Support Of The Confederated Congregations Of Monks And Lay Brothers And Nuns And Lay Sisters Who Follow The Rule Of Life Of St Benedict (Known As The "Order Of St Benedict") And Their Work In Any Part Of The World, And In Particular, But Without Limitation Or Prejudice To The Generality Of The Foregoing, The Advancement, Furtherance And Support Of The Congregation Of Solesmes, Being The Monasteries, Abbeys, Convents And Priories Together Forming The Congregation Under The Presidency Of The Abbot President.if And Only If The Order Of St Benedict Ceases To Exist, The Objects Of The Charity Shall Be The Advancement, Furtherance Or Support Of The Religious And Other Charitable Work Or Purposes Of The Roman Catholic Church In Any Part Of The World.(note That The "Abbot President" Is Defined In The Trust Deed As "The Abbot President For The Time Being Of The Congregation Of Solesmes, Being The Abbot Of The Abbaye Of St Pierre In Solesmes, F 72300, France Or His Successor Under The Canon Law Of The Roman Catholic Church.)
