**Objects:** THE AIM OF THE FRIENDS SHALL BE TO MAINTAIN, REPAIR, RESTORE, IMPROVE AND RECONSTRUCT THE FABRIC OF ST PETER & ST PAUL'S CHURCH, WEST MERSEA, INCLUDING ITS CHURCH HALL, FIXTURES, FITTINGS, FURNITURE, GLASS, ORNAMENTS, OTHER CHATTELS AND CHURCHYARD TO THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC.

**Activities:** To raise funds towards maintainence, repair, restoration, improvement and reconstruction of the fabric of the Church of St Peter & St Paul in West Mersea and thus to promote community cohesion, a wider appreciation and use of the church buildings and good relationships between "the town" and the Church.
